What Dzen Shorts are
Shorts on Dzen (dzen.ru, a large Russian content platform) are vertical clips up to a minute long, the platform's answer to TikTok and Reels. They have their own feed in the app and on the site, and every clip has a page at dzen.ru/shorts/<id>. Full-length videos live at dzen.ru/video/watch/…; Skachok accepts both kinds of links. Technically a short is an ordinary video shot in 9:16, most often at 1080x1920. Dzen serves it in segments over HLS, so there is no finished file on the page; Skachok assembles the segments on a server into a single MP4.
The service labels vertical quality by the short side of the frame: a 1080x1920 clip is listed as 1080p, a 720x1280 one as 720p. That is the convention every platform uses; we covered it in the article on YouTube Shorts.

The id is a long string of letters and digits after /shorts/. Copy the whole address; the ?share_to=… tail can stay. If the clip is open in the feed and the address has no id, tap the clip or its title: the address changes to that short's own page.
How to copy the link to a short
In the Dzen app. Open the short, tap the "Share" arrow to the right of the clip (or in the "···" menu) and choose "Copy link".
On the site from a computer. Open the short, click the address in the browser bar and press Ctrl+C. Next to the player there is also a "Share" icon with "Copy link".

Dzen Shorts: download the video step by step
- Copy the link to the short using one of the methods above.
- Open Skachok, either the home page or the Dzen page. On a phone tap "Paste"; on a computer paste the address into the field. Click "Find".
- Within a few seconds a card appears with a vertical preview, title and duration. The "Video" block shows quality buttons, usually 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p if the author uploaded at that resolution.
- Pick a quality and click "Download". On the free plan an 8-second timer runs first.
- Wait for the progress bar while the server stitches segments; for a one-minute clip that is a few seconds. The file is saved to the browser's Downloads folder.

Dzen: download video to a phone without a watermark
Anyone trying to download Dzen video to a phone without a watermark wants to know whether the file will carry a logo. It will not. Unlike TikTok, Dzen does not embed a watermark into the clip; you get the same file the author uploaded. The only overlay that may remain is a caption or logo the author baked into the frame while editing, and no service can remove that.
Android. Open Skachok in Chrome, Yandex Browser or any other browser, paste the link and download. The file lands in the Download folder, and the gallery picks it up automatically.

Shorts are short, so they weigh little even at 1080p. Approximate sizes for a one-minute clip:

Several shorts at once
