How to Download a Kick Clip or VOD

How to download — step by step

    Copy the clip or VOD link

    Open the clip on kick.com and click “Share” → “Copy link”, or copy the address from the browser bar: kick.com/streamer/clips/clip_…. For a stream recording, open the Videos tab on the channel, pick the recording and copy its address.

    Tip: In the Kick app, copy the link via the “Share” icon under the player. A link to the whole channel (kick.com/streamer) won't work — you need a specific clip or video.

    Paste the link into Skachok

    Paste the link into the field on the home page and click “Find”. You get a preview and a list of qualities — usually 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p, the same as the stream — plus an MP3 option.

    Tip: A VOD several hours long weighs gigabytes. On Free the file size is capped at 5 GB, on Lite — 15 GB, Pro — 30 GB, Max — no limit.

    Download the MP4

    Pick a quality and click “Download”. A clip downloads right away; a VOD is first assembled on the server (watch the progress), then the file is sent to you. Without an account — up to 720p; 1080p is available on Lite and above.

    Tip: On Free the file is served at about 1 MB/s — for multi-hour VODs, Lite (3 MB/s) or Pro (5 MB/s) pays off.

On your phone and computer

On iPhone

In Safari, paste the link and tap “Download”. The file lands in Files → Downloads; for your gallery, open it and choose “Share” → “Save Video”.

On Android

In Chrome the MP4 is saved to the Downloads folder and shows up in your gallery. A multi-hour VOD is best downloaded over Wi-Fi.

On a computer

  • Copy the address from the browser bar, paste it on skachok.com and click “Find”. The file is saved to “Downloads”.
  • For 1080p and above we merge video and audio on the server — it takes from 10 seconds to a couple of minutes.
  • If your player has no sound, open the file in VLC or pick another quality.

FAQ

Can I download a live stream?
No. Wait for the broadcast to end — if the streamer hasn't disabled recordings, the VOD appears in the Videos tab and can be downloaded from its link.
What quality is available?
The same as the broadcast — usually up to 1080p. Without a Skachok account you get up to 720p; 1080p starts on the Lite plan.
Is there a watermark?
No, Kick doesn't put a logo on clips or recordings — the file is clean.
Can I download a subscribers-only VOD?
No, only public videos that open without signing in to Kick.
Can I download only the audio?
Yes — MP3 in the “Audio” block, handy for talk streams and podcasts.
Can I cut out a part of a VOD?
Right now we serve the whole recording. Download the VOD and trim the part you need in any video editor, or create a clip with Kick's own tools and download that.
