You need a TikTok video without the watermark more often than you would think: to repost your own clip to Reels or Shorts, to build a collection of references, to save a friend's video before they delete it. The "Save video" button in TikTok itself gives you a file with a bouncing logo and the author's handle, and sometimes it is missing altogether. Where the logo-free version comes from
No watermark "removal" takes place, and this is important to understand. Programs that promise to erase the logo from a finished file paint over a corner of the frame or crop it, and the traces of such processing are visible.

Where to get the link
In the app, open the video, tap "Share" (the arrow on the right) and choose "Copy link". You get a short address like vm.tiktok.com/… or vt.tiktok.com/…. That works: the service expands it into the full link itself.
On a computer copy the address from the browser bar. It looks like tiktok.com/@author/video/1234567890…. You do not need to remove the long tail after the ?; the service ignores it.
A link to the author's profile without a specific video will not work, nor will a link to a live stream: only a published video can be downloaded.
Step by step
- Copy the video link in one of the ways above.
- Open the TikTok page in Skachok or the service's home page, paste the link into the field and click "Find".
- In a couple of seconds a card appears with a thumbnail, title and duration. The "Video" block has the quality buttons; the "Audio" block has MP3.
- Pick a quality and click "Download". On the free plan an 8-second timer runs before the download.
TikTok videos are served directly, without assembly on the server, so the download starts right after the timer. The file is saved to your browser's downloads as a regular MP4.
How to save it on a phone
Android. Open Skachok in Chrome or another browser, paste the link and download. The file lands in the Download folder, and the gallery picks it up on its own. If the video does not show up in the gallery, open it through the "Files" app.
iPhone. Use Safari. The file goes to Files → Downloads. To move it to Photos, open the video in Files, tap "Share" and choose "Save Video". Do not paste the link into the browser built into TikTok or a messenger: saving files often does not work there.
The vertical orientation and aspect ratio are preserved, so the clip can go straight to Reels or Shorts with no re-editing.

What about copyright
Downloading your own videos without the watermark is normal practice: TikTok re-compresses them on save, and you need the original for editing or moving to another platform. Use other people's videos with the author's permission and do not pass them off as your own. If the video cannot be found
- The video is private or friends-only. The service sees only public videos. Check whether the link opens in a browser without signing in to TikTok.

- The link points to a profile or a live stream. You need a link to a specific published video.
