How to Download Dailymotion Videos in HD

How to download — step by step

    Copy the video link

    On the website, open the video and copy an address like dailymotion.com/video/x8abcde. In the app, tap “Share” → “Copy link” — you get a short dai.ly/x8abcde address, which works too.

    Tip: The video ID starts with the letter x — for example x8k2f1p. If the address contains ?playlist=…, there is no need to remove anything.

    Paste the link into Skachok

    Paste the link into the field on the home page and click “Find”. You see a preview, the duration and the options: MP4 by quality and MP3.

    Tip: Dailymotion often restricts viewing by country. Skachok requests the video from its own server, so a video that is unavailable where you are may still download.

    Download the file

    Pick a quality and click “Download”. The file is saved to your Downloads. Without an account — up to 720p and 3 downloads a day; 1080p is available on Lite and above.

    Tip: Long videos (films, matches) are prepared on the server — watch the progress on the card, the file starts downloading once it is ready.

On iPhone

In Safari, paste the link and tap “Download”. The file lands in Files → Downloads; to move it to Photos, open it and choose “Share” → “Save Video”.

On Android

In Chrome the MP4 is saved to the Downloads folder and shows up in your gallery.

On a computer

  • Copy the address from the browser bar, paste it on skachok.com and click “Find”. The file is saved to “Downloads”.
  • For 1080p and above we merge video and audio on the server — it takes from 10 seconds to a couple of minutes.
  • If your player has no sound, open the file in VLC or pick another quality.

FAQ

What quality can I download?
Dailymotion serves videos up to 1080p if the author uploaded them at that resolution. Without an account you get up to 720p; 1080p is available on the Lite plan.
The video isn't available in my country — can I still download it?
Often yes: our server requests the video itself, so regional viewing restrictions don't always get in the way. If Dailymotion blocks the video for our server as well, you will see an error.
Can I download a private video?
No — public videos only. Private videos, available by password or only to the owner, are not supported.
How do I download a whole playlist?
Paste the links to the videos you need as a list — one per line. Without an account 3 links are processed at a time, on Lite — 5, Pro — 10, Max — 50.
Can I save only the audio?
Yes, choose MP3 in the “Audio” block.
Is there a watermark?
No, Dailymotion doesn't burn a logo into the file — you get a clean video.
