How to download — step by step

    Copy the coub link

    Open the coub on coub.com and copy the address from the browser bar — coub.com/view/2n5z8. In the app, tap “Share” → “Copy link”.

    Tip: From the feed and the “Best” section you can also grab the link via the “Share” icon under the coub — no need to open it separately.

In Safari, paste the link and tap “Download”. The MP4 lands in Files → Downloads; to move it to Photos, open the file and choose “Share” → “Save Video”.

On Android

In Chrome the MP4 is saved to the Downloads folder and shows up in your gallery — from there you can send it straight to a messenger.

On a computer

  • Copy the address from the browser bar, paste it on skachok.com and click “Find”. The file is saved to “Downloads”.
  • For 1080p and above we merge video and audio on the server — it takes from 10 seconds to a couple of minutes.
  • If your player has no sound, open the file in VLC or pick another quality.

FAQ

Why is a coub silent when I save it the usual way?
Coub stores the picture and the music separately: the video is looped and the sound is a separate track. Skachok merges them into one MP4 on the server.
Can I download just the music?
Yes, choose MP3 in the “Audio” block — you get the coub's audio track.
What quality do I get?
Coub serves low-resolution clips — usually up to 720p. That is the coub's original quality; the platform doesn't store anything higher.
Is there a watermark?
No, the file is clean — no Coub logo.
Can I download a private or deleted coub?
No. The coub must open from its link without signing in to Coub. Deleted coubs can't be recovered.
Can I download a whole collection of coubs?
Only one by one: copy the links to the coubs you need and paste them as a list, one per line — up to 3 at a time without an account, up to 5 on Lite, 10 on Pro and 50 on Max.
